This sugarcane dome cup lid was designed to fit our 650ml paper milkshake cup, ideal for smoothies, milkshakes and slushies. The straw hole accommodates regular and jumbo paper straws.

Made from moulded sugarcane pulp, a byproduct of the industry, sugarcane offers a PLA bioplastic alternative to petrochemical PET or PP takeaway cup lids.

Certifications

• Certified to AS 5810 for home composting (verified by the Australasian Bioplastics Association)
• Certified to ASTM D6400, D6868, D8410 for industrial composting (verified by the Biodegradable Products Institute, BPI)

End of Life

Where appropriate composting infrastructure exists, certified compostable packaging can contribute to circular economy outcomes by supporting greater diversion of food waste from landfill, including food scraps attached to packaging. End-of-life outcomes depend on local infrastructure. We recommend confirming local acceptance before making compostability claims.

AS 5810 and ASTM D6400 include requirements that total fluorine content does not exceed 100 ppm, alongside declarations of no intentionally added PFAS, as referenced by the Australasian Bioplastics Association and the Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI).

Due to rapidly increasing costs to deliver, driven by excessive fuel prices and surging inflation, we can no longer offer a flat rate for delivery nationally. We have mirrored our delivery partner's costs and are now passing them on.
