Ideal for office water coolers, markets and large-scale events, our 215ml paper cups are aqueous coated, using a water-based dispersion system to create strong barrier performance without conventional plastic linings.
Unlike PLA-lined cups, aqueous coatings are designed to break down more readily in composting environments, making them better suited to short-cycle compost systems increasingly preferred by councils and commercial composters.
These cups offer a more practical end-of-life pathway supporting higher acceptance rates where compost collection is available.
Measuring 73mm at brim, these are suitable for most water cup dispensers.

Where appropriate composting infrastructure exists, certified compostable packaging can contribute to circular economy outcomes by supporting greater diversion of food waste from landfill, including food scraps attached to packaging. End-of-life outcomes depend on local infrastructure. We recommend confirming local acceptance before making compostability claims.
