Industrial Composting

Our coffee cups are certified compostable to the AS 4736, EN 13432 and ASTM D6400 standards for industrial composting, which requires the product to:

1) disintegrate after 12 weeks, and

2) completely biodegrade after six months. (This means that 90% or more of the material will have been converted to CO2. The remaining share is converted into water and biomass – i.e. valuable compost.)
