Made of 100% renewable resources, low-emission Ingeo™ bioplastic and certified industrially compostable, these lids offer an alternative to fossil-fuel plastics in our takeaways.

End of Life
Our PLA cup lids are certified compostable to the AS 4736, ASTM D6400 and EN 13432 standards for industrial composting, which requires the product to:
1) disintegrate after 12 weeks, and
2) completely biodegrade after six months. (This means that 90% or more of the material will have been converted to CO2. The remaining share is converted into water and biomass – i.e. valuable compost.)
