Ecoware clear sauce containers are manufactured from the Ingeo™ brand of polylactic acid (PLA), a bioplastic which retains the functional properties of conventional plastic but, unlike petrochemical plastics, is produced from renewable feedstocks such as corn, cassava, sugar cane or beets. Custom-designed lids provide a secure fit, making these containers ideal for takeaway sauces, aioli, and anything really that your customers would want on the side. Available in 60ml and 140ml. Lids are sold separately.

End of Life
Industrial Composting
Our PLA containers are certified compostable to the AS 4736, ASTM D6400 and EN 13432 standards for industrial composting, which requires the product to:
1) disintegrate after 12 weeks, and
2) completely biodegrade after six months. (This means that 90% or more of the material will have been converted to CO2. The remaining share is converted into water and biomass – i.e. valuable compost.)
